Illinois Central Mixed HO Scale Model Train

November 19th, 2009

An Illinois Central EMD SD70 leads a Canadian National Dash 8, a Grand Trunk GP38, a Canadian Nationa/GTW GP40, and a decent sized mixed freight on my friend’s layout.

Eh, give it time. hopefully one day, you will be able to have a layout that allows you to run 110 car trains!

You have a Sweet layout! I like the muisk along with it too! not only do I enjoy hearing sound decoded loco’s running, but its nice to sit back an listen to some great muisk an watch the trains! I love it!!!!!!

question: How did you make that gondola look “warped”????? its the 5th to last car. I wanna do that to one of my cars but I have no idea how.

A good way to “warp” a gondola or anything else(good idea for scrapped cars or a repair shop scene) is apply a small amount of heat with a pen torch or small butane lighter. soon as the plastic gets soft press against it with the edge of a file or corner of a flat head screwdriver. be careful to much direct heat will bubble the paint or melt plastic completely.
